WELCOME TO YEAR 2 OF DISTRICT FRINGE

We couldn’t be prouder of our first year at District Fringe. Together, we:

  • produced 15 mainstage readings and productions

  • served over 1,500 patrons

  • held 10+ free events

  • produced 13 nights of programming

  • supported nearly 50 artists

  • achieved a big dream!

Now, we need your help to make District Fringe’s second year just as impactful as year one.

  • In case you haven’t heard, we just announced our 2025 festival lineup! These D.C. area artists need your support to bring their creative visions to life. Help them thrive in a time when getting grants and funding has become more difficult.

  • District Fringe takes place at various venues across D.C. These performance venues are sacred spaces where artists bring their District Fringe shows to life. Renting spaces to bring art to life is a big endeavor, which can be costly. Help us reduce the burden of venue costs so that our artists can focus on creation.

  • Our volunteers assist the District Fringe team with all aspects of the festival. Show them some love by donating to help us keep them well fed, hydrated, and happy.

  • Artists need light and sound to bring their visions to life on stage. District Fringe wants artists participating in the festival to have the resources they need to make their artistic dreams come true. Help us secure the best tech for District Fringe!

  • Through marketing and advertising, we get the word out about District Fringe. From posters to social media ads, your support provides us with opportunities to reach our audience and fill seats.   • We want our audience to experience all of what District Fringe has to offer, and we need you to make that possible. From concessions to way-finding markers, we desire to create an atmosphere for everyone to enjoy the magic of DC’s independent theater.

  • This is the team that makes District Fringe happen. They do the marketing, the coordination, the project management, and so much more! We want to pay our team members for their hard work, and your support will help us give them the stipends they deserve.
