The Firefly Amphitheater
HOW DO I GET TO THE FIREFLY?
Join us at the Firefly Amphitheater for free programming throughout the festival! The Firefly is located at the Outdoor Amphitheater of the University of District Columbia Campus.
Arrive at the University of the District of Columbia campus. The address is 4200 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC.
Enter the campus through the main entrance on Connecticut Avenue.
Follow the main driveway straight ahead, passing the campus center and parking areas.
Look for directional signs for the Outdoor Amphitheater, which is located near the center of campus.
The Outdoor Amphitheater is an open-air venue nestled among the green spaces, clearly visible as you approach.
“Firefly” will be staged at the Amphitheater, so proceed to the seating area. Ushers will assist if needed.
For accessibility assistance or additional directions, contact the venue staff upon arrival.

A staged reading of Eclipsing Stars, a historical drama set in the 19th century and narrated by circus showman P.T. Barnum. The play follows the Booth family—famous for their Shakespearean performances—as their personal and political conflicts unfold in the years leading up to Lincoln’s assassination.

TYA Play by Alli Hartley-Kong and Kim Dungey
Charlotte's just an average kid who likes spending time with her family, gardening and baking. But when her grandmother moves into a hospice, her family's relationships change and shift as they discover just what it means to have a meaningful transition.
This is a TYA play cowritten by Alli Hartley-Kong (a playwright) and Kim Dungey (a hospice and grief professional). It's aimed at fostering conversations with young people about the very real things that they experience. Description text goes here

Through their friendship and growing romance, Flora comes to accept her sexuality, and Kelly reclaims her power of choice, deciding that she is deserving of unconditional love after all.
